2018 Cannonball Chardonnay, 375ML – $8.99

The 2018 Cannonball Chardonnay is another medal winner from Share A Splash Wine Co. Its color is light golden straw, a result of both the grapes and the oak used for fermentation. It has amazing aromas such as caramel, baked sourdough pie, toasted bread, caramel, and granny Smith apples. It is full-bodied with lemongrass and roasted almond notes. The honeycomb sweetness and sweet butter creaminess create a smooth, satin-like taste. A refreshing mineral acidity balances it at the end.

The fruit of the ‘Zippy white wines is subtle green apple and pear. The wine has a creme brûlée on the palate, which gives it some weight. It has a higher acidity. Chardonnay is a delicious variety.

2019 Cannonball Sauvignon Blanc – $14.99

2019 Cannonball Sauvignon Blanc Share a Splash Wine Co. derives its characteristics from the soil and sun of the North Coast. This is an incredible terroir to grow sauvignon blanc grapes. The nose is dominated by guava, lime and tangerine, with back notes of white peach and apricot. The palate also displays tropical notes, including passionfruit, lychee and guava.

Stony creek Rose is a Von Stiehl Winery product from southern Door County vineyards. This semi-sweet, fruity Rose has hints of strawberry and melon. It goes well with seafood and appetizers.

“Sour cherry and licorice” has candied fruit and eucalyptus flavors with sweetness on its palate.

Giapoza 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon – $18.00

Giapoza 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon by Michael Pozzan Winery is bursting with aromas of red cherry, red raspberries and a hint of barrel char. It’s bursting with freshly roasted coffee, milk chocolate and the richness of toasted French oak barrels.

Another heartwarming selection is Michael Pozzan Winery‘s Matthew Joseph 2018 Napa Valley Chardonnay. The glass is alive with bright aromas of jasmine, orange blossom and lemon zest. There’s also a hint of key lime. The Napa Valley Chardonnay is known for its deliciously balanced palate. It has flavors of wildflower honey, mandarin oranges and light caramel. The finish is a little bit vanilla bean and cinnamon.
